Asus Transformer Prime Tablet Gets Handled (Video)

The Asus Transformer Prime is the most hotly anticipated upcoming tablet. The Transformer Prime tablet ships with Google’s Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but can be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, making it one of the first tablets to run on the newest version of Android. Hardware features include a 10.1-inch screen with a 1280×800 resolution, which is protected by extra-strong Gorilla Glass. Inside, the Prime packs 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. The battery has an advertised maximum life of 12 hours.

Today we have another video showing off the exceptional new quad-core tablet running on the NVIDIA Tegra 3 — and that is the ASUS Transformer Prime. The Transformer Prime  is a quad-core, 10.1-inch beast. Powered by the world’s first Quad-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 3, the Transformer Prime browses the web and plays 1080p HD video at blazing speeds. The snappier response time and better multi-tasking performance make the Transformer Prime a true mobile entertainment powerhouse.

ASUS Transformer Prime First Impressions With Shadowgun Games And Supernotes App (Video)

ASUS Transformer Prime,the first Android  tablet to have Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor (formerly known as Kal El). Tegra 3 processor  packs a 12-core Nvidia GeForce GPU (3x the graphics performance of the Tegra 2), support for stereoscopic 3D, and wide game controller support. Overall Nvidia says that the Tegra 3 packs 5x the power of the Tegra 2 but consumes up to 61 percent less battery.

Asus Chairman Shows Off Quad-Core Powered Transformer Prime Android tablet

We’ve been waiting a long time to see an Android devices with the quad-core Kal-El Tegra 3 processor.  ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih the Chinese company’s next generation of Transformer tablet during an interview with Walt Mossberg at AllThingsD’s AsiaD event today.
