There have several method can be use to root the Nexus 7 3G, but I think that root Nexus 7 3G with CF Auto Root is more easy and simple. Here is the tutorial:
Step1: Download the Nexus 7 3G CF Auto Root ZIP file from here
Step2: Extract the ZIP file and you will get :
- Windows:
root-windows.bat
- Linux
chmod +x root-linux.sh
- Mac OS X
chmod +x root-mac.sh
Step3: Turn Off the tablet
Step4: Boot your device in bootloader/fastboot mode by holding VolUp+VolDown+Power to turn it on.
Step5: Connect your device to your computer using USB.
Step6: If your pc is running Windows OS, then click to run root-windows.bat and press the key to start rooting process.
Your Nexus 7 3G will reboot once the rooting process is complete. Then, you can download and install Super Su into your Nexus 7 3G.
