USB On-The-Go, often abbreviated USB OTG, is a specification that allows USB devices such as digital audio players or mobile phones to act as a host allowing a USB Flash Drive, mouse, or keyboard to be attached.

As we know, Samsung Galaxy S2 is the first and only Android phones that design to support USB OTG connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy S2 micro USB port supports USB On-The-Go (USB OTG) standard which means the Galaxy S II can act as a ‘host’ device in the same way as a desktop computer in allowing external usb devices to be plugged in and used. These external usb devices typically include USB flash drives and separately powered external hard drives. According to a recent video demonstration on YouTube, the OTG function was shown to be readily available with an ordinary Micro USBĀ  OTG adaptor.
