Rumors of the Droid 3 have been in the pipeline for some time and we’ve heard reported that the new device will feature a 4-inch qHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 960×540, front-facing camera, an 8MP camera around the back power by 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor. But it’s looking awfully close to release now that a fresh set of leaked onto YouTube via German site PhonePads is fueling speculation that Motorola’s Droid 3 smartphone could be nearing its release.

Lets take a look at the allegedly leaked videos have surfaced that show the Droid 3 in action. That’s all we can glean from the leaked videos–buttons, ports, cameras, but neither a verified interface for the Android OS nor any mention of the phone’s underlying power.

Motorola Xoom is the first of  tablets with Android 3.0 Honeycomb reinforced by the dual-core processor Tegra 2 1 GHz from Motorola. The Xoom supports up to 720p video playback and  It features a 2 MP front-facing camera for video chatting over Wi-Fi or cellular Internet and a rear-facing 5 MP camera that records 720p video. The Xoom has a 1280×800 widescreen, 10.1-inch display and 3D graphics acceleration, as well as HDMI-out. Besides this, Motorola Xoom also support Bluetooth keyboard  and docking stations which can us  for charging and as a stand for viewing video.

Motorola Xoom seem has all and powerful features that fulfill the user requirements. But, i think this features is  no good enough for me because it still can making even better which I hope that my tablet, Motorola Xoom can perform many of the same tasks with an Android phone especially voice call and sms. So, is it possible to completely replace your phone with a XOOM tablet?

Yes, may be! Because Xda developer member, sangreal06 now success unlock Motorola Xoom to give it calling and SMS capabilities along with a browser tweak and even attempt to make calls (no working mic though). To unlock Motorola Xoom this features, you need to download and replace the framework-res.apk in /system/framework/ with the file attached and reboot. We’d heard some Android latest Rom leaked news with the last few days. Now, official Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread  software update build for the Motorola DROID X and Droid 2 also  have leaked the upgrade for all to apply and enjoy on both MOTOBLUR phones from Verizon. It’s not the official OTA and  both of the devices have been confirmed to be able to be downgraded via SBF if you want to at a later time to await the official. To install Gingerbread on your Droid 2 and Droid X, you need the DROID 2 and Droid X Bootstrapper by Koush from Android market which will cost $2 to be able to enter recovery mode.

Motorola Europe has finally started rolling out the Android 2.2 FroYo update for Milestone. The Android 2.2 (Froyo) software update includes numerous new features, tons of shortcuts, and enhancements.

How to enable USB host mode such as  thumb drives on the Motorola Xoom?

To make this Xoom USB Host Mode work, you have to flash usb disk altered boot.img and need an OTG Cable to connect a USB thumb drive  with Motorola Xoom. The instruction is very similar to rooting the device, Motorola Xoom. So, you need to extract the img file from the ZIP above, and place it in the same folder as your adb and fastboot binaries, then run some command.
