Android News: Google Nexus S (2.3.2) and Nexus One (2.2.2) Update Rolling Out Now
Both of Google phone, Nexus S and Nexus One update rolling out now. This update will take your Nexus One to Android 2.2.2 (From FRG83D to FRG83G) and Nexus S to 2.3.2 (From GRH78 to GRH78C).
According to the Google, updated Nexus S 2.3.2 is to fix the sms bug and Nexus One 2.2.2 system update contains important bug fixes. For the Nexus One Android 2.2.2, there is no detailed changelog available for the update as of now, we will update you as soon as we know anything. If you still doesn’t got the OTA update notification for your Nexus S or Nexus One, you can download and update manually by following the instructions .
How to manually update Nexus s to android 2.3.2,
Step 1: Download the official Android 2.3.2 update for Nexus S (as link show above).
Step 2: Copy this file into your SD card. (Nexus S users no longer need to change the file name to update.zip)
Step 3: Turn off your phone. Hold down the “Volume Up” button and followed by the “Power” button to turn it on.
Step 4: Use the volume rocker buttons to navigate to “Recovery” option and then select it using “Power” button.
Step 5: Once you see an exclamation mark on the screen, hold down the “Power” button followed by “Volume Up” button.
Step 6: Now is on Android’s Recovery menu. Select the option to apply the update from SD card, followed by selecting the actual update “.zip” file using the “Power” button.
Step 7: Wait for few second for the phone complete update process. Select “reboot system” once updated process finish. That’s all.
