Samsung GT-I9070 Galaxy S Advance is an Android smartphone which was announced in January 2012 and released in April 2012 as an “advanced” variant to the original Galaxy S. The Galaxy S Advance sports a 4 inch Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels at 233-ppi, a dual-core processor running at 1 GHz with 768MB of RAM, a 5 MP autofocus rear camera and a 1.3 MP fixed focus front-facing camera for video calls or self-portrait photography.
The latest Android 2.3.6 firmware with baseband I9070PBOLK1 is now available for download. Here is the tutorial on how to flash I9070PBOLK1 into Galaxy S Advance I9070P:
Note: Manually flash firmware into Galaxy S Advance via Odin will void the phone warranty. So, take it on your own risk.
Step 1: Download Android 2.3.6 I9070PBOLK1_I9070PTPLLL1_TPL.zip, then unzip the file.
Step 2: On your computer- desktop or laptop, Open Odin 3.04 (Download Odin).
Step 3: Turn off your phone and then turn your phone in download mode by press (Home+power+vol down) button.
Step 4: Connect phone to the computer and wait until you get a yellow sign in Odin.
Step 5: Add Android 2.3.6 I9070PBOLK1_I9070PTPLLL1_TPL (.md5) to PDA.
Step 6: Start flash, sit back and wait a few minutes.
Step 7: The phone will automatically reboot once installation complete.
