How To Root T Mobile Galaxy Note 2 Without Increase Flash Counter

The method to root Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 is very simple. You only need use the Samsung Odin application to flash the chainfire root kernel into the phones. But, rooting will increase the phones flash counter and void the phones warranty. So, can we root the phones without increase The phones flash counter?

On the previous tutorial, we have discuss on how to unroot and restore Galaxy Note 2 firmware. But now you can root your T Mobile Galaxy Note 2 without increase the flash counter. Thanks to the Xda developer member ,Robinson and here is the step by step tutorial:

The step below is only for T Mobile Galaxy Note 2. Dont try on other version of Galaxy Note and test it on your own risk.

Step 1: Download T Mobile Galaxy Note 2 ROM- root66_TMO_T889UVALJ1.7z

Step 2: Unzip the downloaded file and you will get root66_TMO_T889UVALJ1.tar.md5.

Step 5: Turn Off your Galaxy Note 2 and then boot into the Download Mode by press the Home+Power+Volume Down Button.

Step 6: Connect your Galaxy Note 2  to the computer. Open Odin and make sure that Odin application is detect your computer.

Step 4: On the Odin application, the click on the Odin PDA Button then choose root66_TMO_T889UVALJ1.tar.md5.

Step 5: Click start button to start flash the ROM into the T Mobile Galaxy Note 2

Step 6: Don’t unplug Phone from the computer during the flashing process.

Your phone will reboot once the ROM -root66_TMO_T889UVALJ1 completely flash into your T Mobile Galaxy Note 2.
