How To Root Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 XXLC1 Firmware Via Odin (One Click Root)

Last week, Samsung has said that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for their Galaxy Note smartphone may be delayed. Report from Samsung Norway on their Facebook page, states that the update will come in quarter two.

As we wait for the Android 4.0 ICS firmware for Galaxy Note, Samsung has quietly released new firmware upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Note which is based on the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread firmware.

Here is the  tutorial on how to root Samsung Galaxy Note N700 latest firmware, Android 2.3.6 XXLC1 firmware (Download and How To Update).

Step 1: Download STOCK ODEX ROOTED ROM for Galaxy Note Android 2.3.6 XXLC1 (Link).

Step 2: Turn Off Galaxy Note. Then turn GalaxyNote  into Download Mode by press the Volume Down + Home + Power button until warning icon appear on the screen. Then press the Volume Up button to enter Downloading Mode.

Step 3: Open ODIN, and then connect your Galaxy Note to your PC via USB. Yellow bar in the Odin COM:ID  column indicate that Odin detect your phone. (If Odin not detect your Phones, then you can refer here (Link) for how to solve)

Step 5: Click on the PDA tab, and select the STOCK ODEX ROOTED ROM
Step 6: Click Start button the start Root Process.

Step 7: That’s All
