Darky ROM is one of the most popular custom ROMs available for the Samsung Galaxy phones includes Galaxy S, Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. It features blazing fast speed and lot of extended features that are missing from the stock Android ROMs.

Recently Darky ROM for Samsung  Galaxy Note has been updated to the version V3.3. Here are some of the features of the Darky ROM as mentioned by the developer:

* Created Colored Circle Battery too (green:100-31, yellow 30-16, red 15-0)
* Added one more row of sliders to AOSP lockscreen (now 4 rows)
* Added Wi-Fi hotspot quick panel toggle
* Added the 4 power buttons (reboot, recovery, download and power off) to quick panel too * Fixed bug when ‘Screen on’ quick panel toggle was enabled at boot (would FC SystemUI)
* Fixed a bug on AOSP Deluxe lockscreen at screen off

Before Start:

1. Backup all your important data to the external SD Card.

2. Install Samsung kies driver (download link) and Odin (download link)  on your PC

3. Download Samsung Galaxy Note stock firmware: XXLA6 (Link)

4. Download DarkyROM_Note v 3.3 ICED XXLA6 Final (Link)

How to Flash XXLA6.

1. Turn off Samsung Galaxy Note. Then turn your Galaxy Note into Debugging Mode by press the volume up + Power + Home button.

2. Open Odin (Do not open Samsung Kies Software).

3. Connect your Galaxy Note to PC via USB Cable. Make sure that your Samsung Galaxy Note was detect by Odin.

4. Unzip (stock firmware: XXLA6)  and put the related file on the file on the Odin Tab as show at image below:

5. Press Start button to start flash process.

6. Your Galaxy Note will reboot once XXLA6 firmware completely flash into Galaxy Note.

7. Now you need install CF Root Kernel for Galaxy Note. So, Download XXLA6 CF Root kernel and then refer to the instruction here on how to flash CF Root Kernel into Samsung Galaxy Note. after this step your Galaxy Note should be on XXLA6 & have Superuser and CWM

8. now, you just need to get this (Darky) ROM’s .zip file onto your sdcard (int or ext) and then, open CWM, reboot into Recovery Mode and install the .zip.

9. That’s all!
