Rooted phones can take advantage of some great performance tweaks–such as CPU overclocking and improved cache management–that can dramatically speed up Android. Rooting also lets you install custom ROMs that eliminate the annoying crapware many manufacturers and carriers include by default. In the early days of Android ownership, the process of “rooting” your brand-spanking-new and expensive Android device involved a fairly complicated 10 to 15 step process that involved the very real and present danger of “bricking” your Android phone and making it a worthless block of metal and glass. But Now hardly any Android device is immune, because almost all Android device can be root with one simple click.

Previously, we have showed you on how  to root Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 via  DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit (how to root). Now, we will show you the instructions on how to root Galaxy Note device powered by AT & T. Please note that this procedure only work on the phones which are locked with the AT&T and not to the phones which are of SIM Free devices such as N7000. Here is the step on how to root AT & T via Odin:

Before Start:

You need install Samsung software Kies on your PC. After installation complete, don’t run the Samsung software Kies and you need to disable all this application on you PC windows System configuration, then restart your PC.

Download Odin3 v1.85.exe: Link

Download “PDA” Rooting File: Link

Now you can Start:

Note: this root process only for AT &T Galaxy Note N7000B, click here if you want to root Galaxy Note N7000.

Step 1: Completely turn off your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000B.

Step 2: Turn your Phone into downloading Mode by press: “Power”+”Home”+”Volume” Down button.

Step 3: Connect your phone to PC via USB Cable.

Step 4: Open Odin and make sure that Odin detect your Samsung Galaxy Note N7000B.

Step 5: In Odin, click on “PDA” tab , choose the file as “pda.tar” and then click on “Start” to start the process of rooting.

Step 6: That’s all. Enjoy!
