The smartphone market is currently the fastest-growing segment of the mobile handset market and it will continue to outpace the overall handset market for the foreseeable future. Whereas smartphones were once left up to pure-play manufacturers and the largest of handset vendors, today nearly every major handset vendor has smartphones as part of its portfolio and they are spreading to smaller players that view these higher margin devices as a means to reach profitability faster.
Today’s smartphones technology especially Android and iPhones are pretty amazing and are getting thinner and cheaper, and as a result are entering the consumer market. Now the design is very sophisticated smartphones, futuristic, modern and usually strong against impact. Flexible designs, augmented reality, quad-core processors, and even some artificial intelligence are just a few of the features you can expect smartphones to have in the next five to ten years.
Here, I think 3D Holographic iPad illusion is one of the most interest Technology for smartphones being displayed at CES 2012. This illusion from InnoVision of Taiwan relies on a glass cage enclosure to project a hologram above any device,
InnoVision Labs had their HoloAd unit on display at CES 2012. The 3D effect is very crisp and glasses aren’t required to get the effect. The technology uses three video images projected in the unit above. This holographic iPad isn’t real and only still in concept design. Instead, this is an illusion created by InnoVision, a small company from Taipei that makes “HoloAds.” Using a glass cage enclosure to project a hologram above any device, InnoVision’s technology makes 2D videos look like 3D holograms.
Come on, Apple. It’s time for holographic iPad. Embrace the future!
