The Galaxy S2 Pink from Samsung which was introduced first in South Korea from the last couple of months, has now headed to Taiwan. Samsung Galaxy S2 is the company’s largest selling Android smartphone and the pink variant of Galaxy S II is specially targeted at the female smartphone users.

The Pink color of Galaxy S2 specs is same to the original Galaxy S2. Starting January 1, Samsung will sell the newly colored Galaxy S2 to entice ladies. The 32GB variant will sell for 21,900 TWDollars (About 724 USD).

Recently, Samsung has announced that they will release Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note. But if you want to taste Android 4.0 ICS on your Samsung Galaxy S2, then you can follow the tutorial (How to Install Android 4.0 ICS on Galaxy S2) to install leaked version of Android ICS 4.0  firmware. Ahead of CES Samsung has been busy pimping all sorts of technologies, but it seems like the company is very serious about transparent LCD as transparent LCD could revolutionize display and mobile devices in the future.

Today, Samsung has released some photos of their new transparent LCD panel, the Samsung LTI460AP01, which is a 46 inch inch transparent LCD display, and according to Samsung it will use just 10 percent of the power that a standard LCD uses. it certainly looks interesting from the photos and I think we will see more of this device at CES 2012 next month.

Siri is an intelligent software assistant and knowledge navigator functioning as a personal assistant application for iOS. The application uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services.

Now, A new app called “Siri for Android” is available to download from the Android Market for free. The developer’s name is “Official App,” which could obviously be misinterpreted as an Apple-sanctioned product. Well, the “developer” put up an app called Siri on the Android Market, fooling people into thinking it’s the real thing. Of course, it’s not official and it’s not real — it’s a shameless rip-off from a developer called “Viewide,” complete with Apple’s own icons.

Fake Siri for Android, doesn’t respond to voice commands or perform any tasks. It merely copies the Siri interface and says nice things about Android in a computerized female voice. “This app is created just for fun,” the developer, Kelvin KYChan, writes.  However, (more…)

Looks like things will be hotting up nicely in the mobile space next year with the Android platform. It looks like Intel finally woke up and decided to get into the mobile game. Today, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics plan to show to the world an Android-based handset packing Intel’s Medfield SoC during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.

The joint effort is designed to speed time-to-market of Intel technology-based smartphones running the Android platform.
