Android Game Reviews: Iron Wars (Free)

Designed by Tap Mobile LTD, Iron Wars game for Android is “an exciting battle between fabulous iron balls,” a description which I could not love much more. After a bout of immature giggling, I opened Iron Wars. It’s definitely got the futuristic look, cool graphics and “ready to rumble” music thing going, which I appreciate.

Iron Wars  is not your ordinary top-down shooter. You do all your shooting while in command of a tiny sphere that rolls around the map with a variety of weapons at your disposal. (more…)

I’m a big fan of a 7-inch tablets, which I think are more practical for everyday use than 10-inch models. That’s because the Galaxy Tab is small enough that apps simply blown up a little bit still fundamentally work.  If you take Android apps and scale them up for the Tab, the majority of them—Twitter, Facebook, Angry Birds—work perfectly.
