Samsung Confirms Making The Next Nexus Phone- Nexus Prime

Nexus Prime which we’ve been hearing lots about of late, is expected to land sometime in Q4 of 2011 and Widely rumored to be the front runner for making the next Nexus phone. Today, Samsung’s legal team may have inadvertently confirmed rumors that the company is indeed working on the next Google phone dubbed the Nexus Prime.

According to geek.com,

a rumored leak of the firmware for Samsung’s upcoming wonderphone, the legal team at Samsung accidentally seems to have confirmed that the device is in fact the Nexus Prime and is, in fact, being made by Samsung.

Nexus Prime rumoured specs include a huge Super AMOLED HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720, a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual-core chip and a ‘Google+ button’. The Prime will be the flagship device for Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Android with Samsung the favorites to make the device. So when we heard that Samsung was rumoured to be doing the Nexus Prime a few months back, we were pretty chuffed. And now it’s official, we’re just counting down the days until Google roles out its latest and greatest Pure-Android smartphone.
