Celcom Malaysia Launches The First Android 3D Recording Tablets – LG Optimus Pad
LG Optimus Pad , is one of high end Android tablet which equipping by a dual-core Tegra 2 chipset, power by Android Honeycomb and runs on T-Mobile’s 21mbps HSPA+ network. The G-Slate has an 8.9-inch multi-touch screen, which is 3D-capable. However, you will need 3D glasses to watch 3D videos on the Optimus Pad. Now, LG Optimus Pad also comes to Celcom. The LG Optimus Pad retails for RM2,199 outright and Celcom is offering it for as low as RM1,668 with a data plan contract.

Celcom offer two plans for the LG’s Optimus Pad , that are Celcom Broadband Basic offers 4GB of data a month for RM68/month and Celcom Broadband Advance with 6GB of data a month for RM98/month.
LG Optimus PAD and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 are both Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets with dual core processors. LG Optimus Tab designed for 8.9 inches and Samsung Galaxy Tab is designed for 10.1 inches WXGA TFT LCD display. LG Optimus PAD packed with 3D camera, enables to capture 3D videos is a benchmark in the tablet market. Since both run Android 3.0 these are the best comparison because we really compare the two devices, not the OS.
Difference Between LG Optimus PAD and Galaxy Tab 10.1
(1) LG Pad is designed with 8.9 inches display whereas Samsung Galaxy Tab packed with 10.1 inches display.
(2) Samsung Galaxy Tab supports 1080×800 p resolutions whereas LG Pad supports for 1080×768 p resolution.
(3) LG Optimus Pad equipped with 3D Camera (Dual lens) enable 3D video recording whereas Samsung Tab 10.1 comes with normal camera.
(4) Samsung Tab and LG pad comes with dual core 1 GHz processors but only display sizes differs which may affects the battery usage in the sense power consumption for larger display is higher than small display.
(5) Anyhow both Samsung Tab 10.1 and LG Pad both have rear camera and front facing camera for video calling and recording which major difference is compare to Apple iPad.
