Gmail For Android Updated to 2.3.5 For Better Syncing Options And Notifications
Google just released a new version of the Gmail app in Android Market. The latest version of Gmail allows users to sync only their priority mail and opt to not sync their entire inbox, which should save data bandwidth and battery use. Besides this, another new feature which I like is the ability to assign different ringtones for each Gmail label or filter.
Overall, here is the Gmail 2.3.5 new features,
- Save bandwidth and battery by only syncing priority mail.
- Use label notifications to mash up filters, labels, and ringtones.
- Remember ‘Show Pictures’ for senders.
- Turn off sticky message actions in landscape or all orientations.
