The Sony Tablet S2 reminds the Kyocera Echo with its dual-screen setup. Two 5.5-inch screens come with a resolution of 1024 x 480 pixels each. The Samsung Galaxy S II is the phone the Korean firm deems the successor to its best smartphone so far. A new Samsung Galaxy  Series phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z, has just been announced. The Galaxy Z is a bit of a cross between the Galaxy SII and the Galaxy SL. Galaxy Z comes with a Super LCD screen in place of the Super AMOLED Plus of the S2,  1GHz dual core Tegra 2 processor, running Android 2.3, 5MP camera and with capable of 720p video recording, 8GB internal memory and micro SD card slot to 32GB.

Skype, which is being bought by Microsoft for $8.5 billion, introduced a new service for Android user. Updated Skype for Android 2.0 will allow free video calls between Android users and users of Skype on any other devices, including the Iphone, Mac, PC or a smart TV, not including any potential charges for using 3G or 4G service, of course. However, not all Android phones will support video calling initially and currently  only support HTC Desire S, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo and Xperia Pro, and Google’s Nexus S.

The Android 2.3Gingerbread build for the DROID Charge is now available for rooted users to download.  This is an early build of Gingerbread for the Droid Charge and some of the function still broken, that includes,

Hotspot app does not work.
TXT message sending does not work.
TXT message receiving is spotty.
HDMI is not working
Some market apps do not show as this is an unofficial release. (will need a build prop edit).

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a large, wide-screen display that looks sharp and bright, and it rests inside a body that is incredibly thin and light. We see a lot of promotional videos for mobile phones and tablets here at 3G and the one below is for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. We would class this as one of the best we’ve seen to get the message across about  Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-  The hardware is nice: It’s thin, it’s light.
