Yes, Motorola Xoom has already been rooted. This Android tablet has been out for less than a day, and already has root and full access to Clockwork Recovery! Google Android has just announce that update to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread starting to push out for Google Nexus S and Nexus One. But if you can’t wait, you can manually install and update by your own. Here are instructions on how to install or update your Google Nexus Phones to Android 2.3.3,

Nexus One

Step 1: Download the update from here. ( link ).

Step  2: Rename the file to update.zip.

Step  3: Copy the update.zip file onto your microSD card.

Step  4: With your Nexus One off, hold down the trackball and press the power button.

Step 5: Now Your Phones  will be booted into a white screen with three Android robots on skateboards. Then Select “Bootloader.”

Step 6: On the next screen, select “Recovery.”

Step 7: Now, Your phone will reboot.

Step 8: Now press the power button and volume up button at the same time.

Step 9: Use trackball to choose “Apply sdcard:update.zip” and wait for few second for update process.

Step 10: That all! Enjoy.

Nexus S ( Note: User response that Nexus S screen color display has problem after update 2.3.3 Android. Link)

Step 4: Power off, then hold volume up and power to reboot to the boot loader.

Step 5: Using the volume key to navigate, select recovery, then use the power button to confirm

Step 6: When you see the warning triangle and arrow, hold the power button and tap volume up.  You’ll see a menu.

Step 7: At menu, select “apply update from /sdcard”, and choose update.zip from the list.

Step 8: Update is process now and choose “reboot system now” once finished.

Step 9: Enjoy!
